The Ford Ranger Regular Cab is a light duty truck that was introduced in 1982. It was originally offered with two engine choices, a 2.8L V6 or a 4.0L Cologne V6. In 1983, a third engine choice was added, a 2.3L four-cylinder. The Ranger was available in both two and four-wheel drive configurations. The four-wheel drive model was not offered with the four-cylinder engine.
